IT Desktop Support / Hardware & Network Engineer
Position Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Desktop Support Engineer with hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting, networking, and IT support operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers and laptops
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues
- Install and configure printers and other peripherals
- Set up and maintain LAN/WAN networks
- Configure routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Perform IP addressing and basic network troubleshooting
- Crimping and structured cabling (RJ45)
- Provide end-user support for hardware and network-related issues
- Maintain IT documentation, reports, and support records
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Router & Switch configuration knowledge
- Windows OS installation and troubleshooting
- Active Directory knowledge (preferred)
- Firewall and basic network security setup
- VPN configuration and remote access support
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to communicate in English is essential
